This hands-on workshop will teach students how to draw the
human skull and face.  Simple shapes will be used along with a step by step approach so that all students will be able to participate regardless of prior drawing experience.
 
Appropriate for grades: 4 - 8
 
Length:  This program may be held in a 40-50 min. period.
 
Also available as a longer program held on multiple days.

Puppet movement workshop: Students will gain a hands-on puppetry experience using simple glove puppets.  Movement exercises will be taught along with short skits, performed by the students.
 
Puppet  Making Workshop: Students will learn to make puppets out of simple materials.  Hand puppets, marionettes, rod puppets, and shadow puppets may be explored.  They will also write their own script and perform a short puppet play.

Eugene Clark is available to work with students on an ongoing basis.  An artist-in-residence program includes multiple meetings with the same group of students, and the completion of a designated project.
